How to Reprogram Mind to be Positive

There is no doubt in the fact that negativity is all around us, and it creates solid impact on our mind. Moreover, I can say that our brain is strongly programmed with “negativity favoritism” – the likelihood for our brain to be more delicate to unpleasant situation.


Dear Friends, in previous article I shared some important points on how to deal with hornet’s nest- the unpleasant situation and how to be more confident. Taking the second step herewith I am publishing something really very powerful techniques to reprogram our mind to be positive. So, here we go.

Start Inking Thankfulness

Even science has proven that inking gratitude on daily bases keeps our brain healthier and happier.Being used to with thankfulness we find more confidence, peace of mind, and a cheerful mood for an entire day. As per the study, an activity was assigned to the group of people to ink the things that they were thankful for. Another group was told to keep notes on things that they were harassed by. The group keeping thankfulness activity showed positivity and change in belief pattern.

That study came up with some key facts;
  • Thankfulness has the biggest psychological benefits.
  • Feeling of 'Far Better' then any other who is not showing gratitude.
  • Heartiest appreciation is an essential side of being thankful.

Keep Positive Affirmations in Loop

Positive affirmations have the power to alter the mechanism of brain effectively and can changes the way in  which brain filters incoming stimuli, efficiently emerging with boosted positive mood. We can rewire the patterns in our brain with affirmations. Affirmations reform the way our brain is wired.  

So, your most awaited moment comes here. Let me show you how to create Positive Affirmations.

  • Be tuned in your own world and think about sectors of your life you are thinking to improve. 
  • Jot Down essential improvements you are thinking to make.
  • Ink some positive statements for each points of your list. (Write them in Present tense and Focus what You want only )
  • Spread these affirmations in your surrounding and repeatedly chant them with feeling of fulfillment.

Involve Yourself With Same Liking Group  

Company of positive group increase positive effect on your though patterns. Surround  yourself with a positive mindset. Implementation of  this would create positive aura and motivate you to be your best.

As I mentioned in my earlier post  Dealing with Hornet's Nest - The unpleasant situation. Vol- 1,  Our brain by default catches negative commands easily. People around you with negative mindset are not at all   different than positive one but gradually they change your way of thinking and you start absorbing their behavior, words or thoughts consciously or unconsciously.

Avoid such companies and keep your end goal before your eyes. Developing this habit would make your mind to stay positive. People who decrease the speed of your progress and affect your brain are nothing compared to your mindset.


Disassociate Yourself From Negative Thoughts 

We can emblem negative thinking as a blank piece of paper for the mind. No substance is found on that. It is designed to attract same liking people. People with negative thoughts rely on urges and misguidance of people around them.

Be conscious when negative thoughts are triggered, they must not be entertained. Don’t allow yourself to create a thought war by trying to justify with them.  In fact notice them. That’s natural to notice them and it doesn’t show acknowledgement.

When you ignore negative thoughts, they fade away in the same way the desire to purchase the most favorite things from shop decreases when you go away of that premises… and you are better off as a result.   

Be Vibrant

Idle state of mind provokes the brain to overanalyze and overthink.  The best way to avoid overthinking is to observe the period when you urge to overthink and overanalyze, simply divert the thoughts and start brain storming.

There are ample solutions to become active and the classiest one is brain storming and exercise. Exercise releases endorphins, the hormones that are responsible for feelings of euphoria. It’s a natural antidepressant that far exceeds the capabilities of any prescription drug. Bright side of this is it’s durability and remains with you for so long.
